The next chapter in my nutrition biz

I spent this past weekend in New York City for my graduation from IIN’s Immersion Program. I quickly snapped this picture before an employee told me that photos were not allowed (don’t tell anyone!). Our graduation ceremony was held at Jazz at Lincoln Center and overlooked Central Park and Columbus Circle. I found the view representative of our future after graduation, a long road with lots to look forward to. This isn’t the end, but the beginning of something big.

I’m excited to share my good news with you! Recently I’ve been thinking a lot about the direction I’d like to take my business and how I can best support you on your healthy quest. I’ve realized that what I love to do is cook. I love food. I get excited when I go to the farmers market and find a vegetable I’ve never worked with before. I am inspired when I learn a new cooking technique or come across a recipe that sounds tasty. These things bring me such joy and I’d love to share them with you.

I serendipitously encountered someone who can help me to explore my love of food and to share my knowledge and skills with my clients. Just as I was discovering her website, Marilyn Moser-Waxman of The Nourishing Well contacted me to see if I was interested in her various nutrition and cooking programs. Since I do not believe in coincidences, I knew that this was the universe’s synchronous way of bringing us together. When this door opened, I knew it was a road I needed to walk down.

I met Marilyn in her kitchen and spent an entire day cooking various dishes which were then delivered to her customers’ houses.  I new right away that this was a place I wanted to be, so I enrolled in her internship program. For the next six months, I will be spending every Monday in her kitchen, cooking and learning about healthy foods. This is a dream come true for me! I am excited to see where this new venture takes me!

My goal is to share the skills I learn at The Nourishing Well with you. This coming autumn, I will be  offering cooking classes and demonstrations to help you bring healthy food into your kitchen. I will also be incorporating new features into my programs, designed to help you transition into a whole foods lifestyle. I welcome your input on how to best meet your nutritional and cooking needs, so please let me know if there is something specific you’d like to learn.  I will keep you posted here and in my newsletters so you can be up to date with my latest offerings!
